Dogeared was founded by self-taught designer Marcia Maizel-Clarke in 1991. Grown from the desire to share good energy with the world, Maizel-Clarke harnessed the positive power of her California home and started hand-making jewelry. Thanks to her "student of life" attitude, Maizel-Clarke immersed herself in all design aspects and fell in love with the creation process.
